No brainer version doesn't work in Amadeus editor

The no brainer version of this software also will not load in my editor, Amadeus II v. 3.8.4 I run it on mac OS 10.4.11 with plenty of memory & 1 GHz processor. The synth shows up as an audio units effect, but when I try to load the effect I get this error:



It is sad. The two programs I use the most are Cubase LE and Amadeus II and the synth doesn't work in either one. I wish I knew this before I paid the money. Win some lose some, I guess.

Did you install the PACE drivers and was a authorization pop up opened when you launched the XILS 3 for the first time ?
If not, please install it (it doesn't need iLok, but these drivers are used to authorize the plug-in on the first launch)
Then try to rescan you AudioUnit components (or VST folder) to authorize the XILS 3

It's been a while since I installed the software, and I can't remember exactly how the procedure went, it authorized such that I can load the synth in another program called VSTshell X 3.52, and it does work fine in that program, but it doesn't load at all in the other programs I mentioned. Where are the PACE drivers that you mentioned located? I will try that.

There is no simple way to check the installation then.
But if you launched it successfully, it should be authorized. I will check it with Amadeus then.

Yes, it works beautifully in VSTshell, so I can use it essentially as a standalone in that program, but can't connect it as an effect processor and can't synch it to my multitracker.

Testing the polyKB with Amadeus, I found the problem.
So this will be fixed soon (I plan an update for the XILS 3, full and LE in a few weeks)
