Hi, just a short report on a few issues I ran into when testing the glide function.
I have a problem with Xils 3 not recognizing the difference between legato and non-legato played notes. I have set the portamento and legato switches to "on". No matter what I set, Xils 3 always does a glide according to the set glide time, also on non-tied notes. So it seems like the legato switch isn't working at all.
Another very funny issue: I have portamento and legato switches activated and I play a few separate notes with obvious pauses in between the release and the next key stroke, going *up* the keyboard. The *rising* glides between the previous and next notes are heard every time as I explained before. Then when play a lower note than the last one, there's also a glide starting from below (!) the last note I hit, rising up to its real pitch! It also happens in the other direction. I think it has something to do with the set glide time: with longer glide times, if the previous glide time hasn't completed its entire duration, Xils gets confused and doesn't start a new glide time cycle for the following notes. EDIT: I got rid of this issue by restricting the voice count to 1 voice.
I hope you can reproduce and fix these issues. My system config is in my signature.
