XILS3 1.04a dec18/2009 LIMITED with Logic not passing audio?

great synth!
nice work!

I'm not new to this stuff, but I can't get external audio to pass through xils3, not as Midi Controlled FX, not as 'normal' FX.
I understand the matrix, but the output remains dead, like described in the other thread.
Is there a known problem/bug?

before updating to the full version, I'd like to have this sorted out.

I'm using XILS3 with Logic 9.1.1

Find below the connection you have to set to get it working :
The minimum is :
Input1 and 2 to output 1 and 2

On the screen shot below you have

Input 1 and 2 -> Filter
Filter -> Output

Transient follower trig - > envelop trig

No need to pass through the output VCA ("env") excepted if you want to trig the envelop.
For this purpose, as you don't have MIDI input, you must use the transient follower. The output trig of this module is connected to the envelop input trig (see the trig matrix in the matrix panel)

I really tried all your suggestions and connections, but still all I get is silence

Also patching the inputs to the meters shows nothing, no movement.

could you attach your example-patch in logic's format, please?
maybe I'm really too dumb for this synth, but I'm eager to learn as it sounds great!

attached a preset for this purpose.
but what you report puzzle me : you should heard something and see the vu meter moved.

As you can see in the screen shot, the XILS 3 LE is inserted as an effect in the audio track (stereo track). Logic must be playing as well.

When Logic is playing, even when the other preset you should hear something when using the XILS 3 keyboard (of course not through MIDI as it is not connected.)

Hi Xavier, your support is outstanding!

Updated to the new 0.5 version, loaded your preset and it's still not working
I can hear the self-resonance of the filter and all but none of the audio from the track.
I really don't know what to try now, do you have any suggestions?

btw: there seems to be a small bug in 0.5 -> when you load a preset, the matrix does not _always_ update (only graphically).
you have to close and reopen XILS to get the right connections shown.

can anybody verify this?

I confirm, the synth is working, also on an insert, only the input-signal does not come through. -b

Could you test this Logic 8 Project ?
Unfortunately I don't own Logic 9, but it should open correctly.

About the graphic problem : I will check it but never noticed it.
When a preset is changed, it can take between 1 to 2 second before all the GUI and sound is updated (to avoid bad noise when the connections are made)

Dear Xavier:

When I open your test-project in Logic9, I only hear the LFO-modulated filterresonance. Only when I bypass the FX-XLS, I can hear the arpeggio.
So, it seems to be the same problem I had.

I also checked in Logic 8.01 - same result.
