PRESET PROBLEM

Hello there

I've encountered some problems loading the analog bag of presets onto my player.

I downloaded the player and the zip file for the presets on my laptop and then burnt these files to a cd to install on my offline studio computer.

The player loaded fine but when I have tried to import the presets bank nothing happens. The player has now started showing some strange garbled file names to select from

but no actual presets are available to me.

It looks like something has been transferred as in the program file there are a load of .int files but I'm just not too sure what I'm doing really- I am a bit of a neanderthal

with technology.

Any help greatly appreciated...

Hi Tom,

This is a known "windows 7" or "Vista" behaviour : These system are using a quite strong folder management and if the install folder (where all the presets are located) is not accessible by user or not write enable, then the PolyKB II player can't be used.

To make it working : reinstall the PolyKB II player, but when the installer ask you, choose a folder "user" can access (not only the system or "administrator").
For instance create and choose the folder "/documents/XILS_lab/PolyKB".
