Hi,

Here are some news :
_ The problem comes from the iLok side. I already asked PACE for some help or updates
_ There is a workaround (this work with ableton LIVE, I hope it will work with Logic ) : Install the dongle free demo of the plug-in. Launch Logic and run the validation tools (it should succeed). Then install the full version. With some hope, Logic shouldn't run the validation process and the plug-in should work (The AudioUnit plug-in is the same for the two version).
If Logic run the audiounit tools and fails, then here is a little more to do :

_ After installing the full version
_ Copy the
/Library/audio/plug-ins/VST/xxx.component plugin (xxx : Synthix, PolyKB II, XILS 3) with an other name.
_ Install the dongle free, launch Logic.
_ Copy back the /Library/audio/plug-ins/VST/xxx.component

As the audioUnit plug-in didn't changed Logic should run the validation tools.

I know this workaround is not very simple and I hope to get some good news from PACE soon.

Best regards
Xavier

That worked Xavier! I've just tried it with polyKB II. BTW, I had to download and run the full iLok polyKB installer (first I tried just dragging the ilok component back in to the Components folder - didn't work!). I also had to bypass a warning saying it couldn't run the installer because I already had a newer version.

Thanks!

Hey xavier, I did this work around and it works fine now. To anyone doing make sure you put logic back into 32bit mode to do the validation then you can switch back to 64 if thats what your using. Now all we need is 64bit support hehe :D

Also on a totally separate side note xavier,
I think a good idea for a plugin you could do would be a minimoog/voyager hybrid (mini sound with the voyager continuous waveform would be awesome) personally I think the old mini plugs out there are not up to the modelling standard of the ones you have done so far.
Also there are no good jupter 8 plugs and finally I don't think anyone has done a memorymoog plug yet either. Just my 2 cents haha.

I'm glad this workaround is working for you.
Anyway I'm working with PACE to help them to fix it soon.

@rushton : before thinking to a new synth, I must finish this one and make the two other x64 compatible ;)
But this idea is interesting (the problem is that if I would make all the synth I want and all the synth customers want, my all life will not be enough. So choice will be necessary)

I don't want to be annoying, but it seems to me you upgraded you OS a bit prematurely. I would have waited a couple of months before upgrading to a totally new OS, since one just can't expect complex software like DAWs and plugins to be compatible from day 1.

I know but I'm only a hobbyist and I couldn't help myself. I'm quite happy to be a test pilot.

Just a note, the workaround succeeded on Synthix, and the new versions of PKII and XILS 3 caused zero problems (I did however reinstall the latest iLok drivers just to be safe).

Hi everybody :

The iLok 1.0.1 version of the Synthix is now compatible with Lion.

The other synthesizers will be updated soon.
